Drug Reaction to Cholestyramine

Questran (cholestyramine) belongs to a group of drugs known as anion-exchange resins.

Cholestyramine is used to lower levels of cholesterol and other lipids in the blood. In this case the drug caused a lichenoid drug reaction.

Following cessation of the drug the oral mucosa started to heal.
