What trimester are you in?#

During the 1st trimester, outside influences may affect the organogenesis of the fetus. The last half of the 3rd trimester is the most uncomfortable for the pregnant patient.

Have you had any signs or symptoms of a high-risk pregnancy?#

Previous miscarriages, cramping, and spotting warrant consultation with the patient’s obstetrician.

Have you noticed any intraoral changes?#

Gingival inflammation is the most common oral condition associated with pregnancy. Tooth mobility may also be present. In addition, a “pregnancy granuloma” Camera icon may develop.
